NSP Tex

We strive to work responsibly every day, with respect for people, the community, and the environment. We believe that it is our responsibility to do business, which is better for our employees, the industry, the environment, the community where we operate, the Customers whom we serve, and Mother Earth, where we live.
This philosophy, concerning global fundamental rights has helped us to improve our sustainability performance over the years. We are now integrating this approach across the supply chain to enhance the performance of our allies too.

Energy

We have set up solar power plants with capacities of 8MW and wind energy capacity of 4.1MW. This takes care of more than 60% of our annual power requirements. In near future, we are aiming to install additional green energy sources that will take care of our entire power requirement.

Water

Our advanced effluent treatment plants (ETPs) provide highly efficient treatment of wastewater, enabling the recovery of good quality water to be reused in our production processes. Most of our wet processing units use treated process water, helping the facilities to achieve zero liquid discharge (ZLD).

We are continuously reducing our dependence on freshwater by improving our recycling and reuse efforts through better technology. At all our facilities we are constantly researching, developing, and introducing new technologies to become more water efficient and reduce consumption.

Chemical

We strictly adhere to non-usage of restricted chemicals and have a strong governance system in place to ensure proper chemical management through regular audits, trainings and guidelines displayed across our factories. Our chemical management guidelines include proper chemical storage, chemical use, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage and selection, and emergency response training. We are constantly researching and finding ways to reduce chemical use by substituting certain chemicals in our supply chain.

Nature

Nature is what drives us to take special initiatives by supporting and in planting more than 50,000 trees around our factory of Miyawaki forest technique. We are using sunlight illumination on our production floors leading to minimal energy consumption. Rainwater harvesting system has been set-up in our factory with a capacity of more than 10,000 Cubic Meter. The amount of water, consumed for industrial purpose is being given back to the Mother Earth by the way of our Rainwater Harvesting Project.

Recycling Cotton

Cotton recycling is the process of converting cotton fabric into fibers that can be reused for other textile products. Recycled cotton is primarily made from pre-consumer cotton which is excess textile waste from clothing production. It is less commonly made from post-consumer cotton which is discarded textile waste from consumers such as second-hand clothing. The recycling process includes assessing the quality of cotton fibers through systematics collection, manually sorting the materials, and undergoing a mechanical or chemical process to break down the textile fabric into reusable fibers. In the mechanical process, fabrics are torn into individual fibers through a machine, and in the chemical process, the fabrics’ chemical properties are broken down through chemical reaction processes such as the Lyocell process and dissolution in ionic liquids.  The mechanical process is the primary way to recycle textiles because the chemical process is not commercially used.

CSR

The intent to invest in the development of communities and the protection of the environment has been intrinsically woven into the corporate ethos of NSP Tex since its inception. Over the years, we have been consciously developing our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

You can have anything you want in life if you dress for it.
